OTG believes that every person deserves the opportunity to live an active and healthy life. We are proud to have worked with some phenomenal organisations over the years.
The below projects are bringing people together by driving the humanitarian spirit forward through sport for their chosen causes.
Fair Game
Fair Game believes that all Australians should have access to the benefits of healthy choices and the OTG team is in awe of the work that Fair Game does to give remote communities access to fitness, education and sports equipment.
OTG was honoured to be connected with Fair Game through a partnership in 2015-2016 that saw our founder Mick Spencer, join Fair Game for the volunteering opportunity of his life. OTG participated in Fair Game’s recycle and donate program and donated proceeds from a charity initiative.
OTG believes that every person deserves to live an active and healthy life and Fair Game is an amazing organisation that is engaging underserviced Australian communities through unique health education, fitness programs and recycled sports equipment. With these values aligned, our OTG community love hearing updates from the inspiring work Fair Game is doing in remote Australia.
Fair Game has a strong energy toward their purpose which is to be a key driver for healthy community change across Australia. We encourage the OTG community to get behind Fair Game; To become a Fair Gamer, Donate Equipment, Partner or Donate to Fair Game visit their website fairgame.org.au
Ride Around Oz
OTG is a VERY proud sponsor of this awesome duo Greg McDermott and April Gillies. Greg McDermott is riding 15, 000km around the planet’s 6th largest country, Australia for Youth off the Streets.
Greg is averaging 180km daily in a loop from Sydney that will see him educate, motivate and inspire all Australians to find their passion, live with purpose and set goals to achieve their dreams because anything in life is possible!
The Steve Waugh Foundation, The Captains Ride
OTG is honoured to have worked with Steve Waugh and The Steve Waugh Foundation on their main fundraising event, The Captain's Ride. The Steve Waugh Foundation supports children and young adults with Rare Diseases.
“The rare disease patient is the orphan of the health system, often without diagnosis, without treatment, without research and therefore, without reason to hope.”
The Steve Waugh Foundation provides Individual Grants and Respite Camps along with supporting research and raising awareness for rare diseases. Their mission is to ensure children and young adults with rare diseases have somewhere they can turn.
We are humbled to have worked with The Steve Waugh Foundation on The Captain's Ride by raising awareness, being an official supporter, providing riders gear and having our founder and CEO, Mick Spencer, take part and fundraise for the 6-day ride.
